American Watchmaker Niall Opens First Flagship Retail Store

Kansas City, MOOctober 4, 2016Niall, recently ranked the number one watchmaker in America by The Good Trade, opened its first retail location over the weekend. The 800 square- foot flagship store is located on the Country Club Plaza at 612 W. 48th St. in Kansas City, MO.

Niall's flagship store features an "open kitchen" layout where customers can see the assembly of the watches and finishing process through glass. The “open kitchen” concept at the store is Niall’s way of showcasing how complicated and intricate the Niall manufacturing process and product really are. 

Niall’s full collection of USA-made, Swiss movement timepieces are available for purchase at the store and online. The Niall timepieces include Swiss Eterna movements with top quality, American-manufactured parts. Niall’s cases and bezels are individually manufactured from a solid block of the highest grade, corrosion resistant 316L stainless steel and the dial and movement are protected by Gorilla® Glass, a chemically-enhanced super glass with 2.5x greater break resistance than sapphire. The Gorilla® Glass was made for Niall in collaboration with Corning®.

The Niall One series, the brand’s first line, is bold in appearance with an iconic design. The One series comes in five color variations and ranges in price from $4,250 to $5,250. The Niall GMT series, has a classic aesthetic with a vintage feel. It features two sub-dials -- one for sweeping sub-seconds and the other for tracking Greenwich Mean Time. The GMT series comes in six different color variations and ranges in price from $3,750 to $4,800. 

The Niall store also contains a suite of American-made products, designed by Niall. Some of these products include "KC Blue" wall clocks, "All In" themed accessories and educational books on watchmaking. This expanded product line is something Niall says is in their DNA and offers customers more ways to engage with and support the Niall brand.
